“The Best!”

If this place was half as good as it is, you would still give it 5 stars. Truly one of the best places place to stay with a young family. Wonderful, clean facilities, we (free coffee, tea magazines for grownups) loved the soft play area and the swimming pool, play area, swings and slides and the toy tractors and the girls enjoyed feeding the animals with Farmer Malcolm each morning. Introducing the feeding of pigs, rabbits, goats, sheep and chickens to young children is fantastic experience. Yes you can see them all at other farms, but here your children actually feed the animals from their hand and the lifting of the chickens to find fresh warm eggs, wow. Again, all the areas are so clean.

So much to do here and in the area, that we never even touched the woodland walks. These will have to wait until next time.

You can even indulge in a late night hot tub with an ice cream overlooking the beautiful valley too after the kids are asleep.

Room Tip: 4 adults and 2, 20 month girls had a great time in Tansy. Wake up to the view of the animals.

“A Holiday Perfect For Children & Parents”

This was our first visit to Clydey and certainly not our last. We were met with a very warm welcome, and introduced to a stunning two bedroom cottage which has lost no character over the years but has all ‘mod cons’ delicately blended into it’s design. It was kovely to jump out the roll top bath to be shocked to find the bathrooms had underfloor heating. My two girls (2 & 3 years) loved feeding the animals with ‘Farmer Malcolm’ who was such a lovely man and excellent with the kids remembering all their names from the start and getting them fully involved. The facilities on offer beyond my expectation, ours girls loved the soft play area, then off to the pool whilst Nan & Grandad enjoyed a quick dip in the hot tub. On holiday I usually like to jump in the car and explore but not this time I was so relaxed watching the kids enjoy themselves that the car never moved.

“Great First Family Holiday with Our 8 Month Old”

Fantastic facilities, lovely, beautifully clean and well equipped cottage in a picturesque part of Wales.

This was our first family holiday (my husband, me and our 8 months old daughter). We were not sure about going away with a baby as we figured she would not be able to appreciate the excitement of being away and it could potentially just be hard work but away from the comfort of our own home! We may not have booked anything if it had not have been for finding these cottage and seeing the positive reviews from others and seeing how children first their approach is. We weren’t disappointed! The facilities are great, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Our daughter was even able to get involved with the animal feeding and she was able to crawl about in the soft play area and splash about in the pool. There are also lots of places to go within driving distance such as Folly Farm, lots of coves/beaches, towns with boutique shops and various other activities which we did not have time to try. We are looking forward to returning when our daughter is a bit older so she can get even more from the experience.

“Fantastic For Toddlers”

Fantastic place to take young children. The owners have thought of everything. Swimming pool, playroom with soft play, outside courtyard full of ride on cars, climbing frame, sandpit and crèche. Lovely cottages which are very well equipped. The only negative is the location, a 11/4 hours to Tenby, Whitesands and St David’s. However, other lovely beaches within half an hour and the facilities on site make up for it. Would definitely go back as my children loved it. Shame there are not more holiday places like this.

“Everything Everyone Says is True”

Fabulous, welcoming, excellent accommodation, brilliant facilities, exceptionally toddler friendly…not much else to say. Loved it and so did my daughter and almost 2 year old granddaughter. Take plenty of basic supplies if you don’t want to drive about 6 miles to the shop, but can recommend the Cook meals from the freezer.Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer!!

“Fabulous Family Holiday!”

This was our first visit to Clydey and certainly not our last. From a very warm welcome, to our stunning cottage, animal feeding with ‘Farmer Malcolm’ (who our girls aged 6 & 3 adored) and outstanding facilities we were beyond impressed with what Clydey offers. The local beaches and walks are outstanding (if you can tear yourself away from Clydey) and even in the bitterly cold March weather were enjoyed by all.
