What is included in the price of your holiday?
All Bed Linen(except cot bedding) – all beds are made up for your arrival with bed linen and duvets.
White Fluffy Towels for use in your cottage. Swimming towels can be hired for £5 per person per towel (or you can bring your own). Please bring your own beach towels.
Heating
All cottages at Clydey have central heating which is fully under your control via ‘wireless’ controllers.
Complimentary wifi
We do have wifi on site and within each cottage but it is rural broadband, not superfast fibre. Therefore, whilst it is perfectly adequate to do emails and search websites, it is NOT strong enough to stream video or films.
Telephone
Unfortunately, mobile signal is very weak around the cottages, unless you have wifi calling enabled on your mobile ‘phone. There are ‘phones within each cottage which work off the wifi network and enable guests to make external calls (extra charges apply). Guests can receive incoming calls to their cottages, routed via Reception, but only when Reception is open. When Reception is closed, there is also a pay ‘phone on the main car park.
Welcome Pack – fresh flowers, milk, tea selection, coffee, sugar, Welsh cakes.
Cleaning Essentials – dish cloth and scourer, dustpan and brush, hoover. Due to the lack of storage space in some cottages, there may not be a hoover within your cottage. However, we keep spare hoovers in the shared laundry area, which is accessible 24hrs per day, for guests to use. Kitchen Packs are available to be purchased in advance which include tin foil, cling film, kitchen roll, black bags, white bags, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and antibacterial surface spray. These cost £5 per pack and can be booked online or via messaging The Admin Team on admin@clydeycottages.co.uk.
Kitchen Supplies can also be purchased from Reception/onsite shop.
Use of all facilities – the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, children’s indoor softplay room, outdoor play area with sandpit, swings, slide and ride-on toys. In the Games Room we have Table Tennis, Table Football, Air Hockey and Pool as well as a Book Library and Board Games. We have a daily animal feeding and egg collecting routine where children can help ‘The Jolly Clydey Farmer’ collect eggs from the resident chickens and help feed the pigs, alpacas, guinea pigs, goats, rabbits and Shetland ponies.
Shared Laundry
There is a shared laundry on site at Clydey with washing machines and tumble dryers. This service is complimentary for guests, however we do ask that you provide your own washing powder etc., which can also be purchased in our on-site shop.
There are communal washing lines for guests to use by the Laundry.
(The Farmhouse has its own washing machine, tumble dryer and washing line and Tansy Cottage has its own washer/dryer).

Staying Longer than One Week?
If you are staying with us longer than one week, we will change your bed linen after one week and provide fresh towels, bath mat, tea-towels, oven gloves.
If you are staying for only one week or a short break, we do not change your bedding or provide fresh towels as a matter of course. However, should you require a change of bedding due to any ‘accidents’ this will gladly be provided, free of charge, upon request.
Occasionally, and especially where young children are concerned, several bedding ‘accidents’ may occur during your stay. We will gladly provide changes of bedding but we do reserve the right to levy an extra charge should there be more than one ‘accident’ during your stay.
