Here at Clydey, the safety of our guests and staff is of the highest priority and we have therefore put the following measures and precautions in place. Please do contact us if you have any questions or concerns and for the latest updates on what we can and cannot offer.
Cottages – all cottages will be cleaned to our usual high standard and then also sanitised as a second defence. If time allows, we use a sanitising, anti-viral fogging machine, certified against coronavirus, after the previous guests vacate. We will be removing any non-essential items from the cottages that cannot easily be cleaned and sanitised – bed throws, cushions, leaflets etc. If time does not allow us to use the anti-viral fogging machine, bedding, pillows and duvets will all be changed between guests (not just the bed linen). Hand sanitiser will be given to every family with suggestions and advice to maintain physical distancing.
Facilities – our swimming pool will be available on an exclusive basis to each cottage in pre-booked allocated slots, as will the hot-tubs. The changing rooms will remain closed with guests being requested to change in their cottage.
Unfortunately, the SoftPlay will remain closed, as it is not possible to clean and sanitise all of the ball pit balls and toys between guests.
The Games Room will be open.
Animal Feeding – will still take place but it will be at a reduced capacity in order to maintain physical distancing, with guests being able to join in on alternate days.
Outdoor play areas and ride-on toys will be available, with sanitising stations nearby and guests asked to sanitise hands before and after using.
Woodland Adventures – we will be running two sessions at reduced capacity, on a Wednesday afternoon.
Children’s Club – unfortunately, we will not currently be able to run our Children’s Club as it is a non-parental supervised activity and it will not be possible for our Team to remain physically distant from the children in their care.
These ‘guidelines’ are changing and being revised on a regular basis so we will have to see what measures we have to adhere to as the weeks go by, hopefully, being gradually relaxed.
