During a tour of some of Pembrokeshire’s premiere accommodation providers Edwina Hart AM – Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science visited the award winning Clydey Cottages Pembrokeshire in Boncath near Cardigan.
In recent years, Clydey Cottages have won ‘Best Self-Catering Accommodation in Pembrokeshire’ two years running and were awarded ‘Best Place to Stay in Wales’ in their category of large self-catering, in the National tourism Awards for Wales.
The Minister congratulated Dewi and Jacqui Davies on achieving these awards.
Mrs Hart said: “I was very impressed with the high standards of accommodation and the amenities offered at the idyllic Clydey Cottages and can appreciate why so many families return year after year. The picture postcard location, combined with the impressive facilities and friendly team of dedicated staff led by Dewi and Jacqui, all contribute to a high quality visitor experience in the heart of the west Wales countryside.”
Dewi and Jacqui have continually re-invested to ensure that guests receive the very best that self-catering in Pembrokeshire has to offer and pride themselves on being a very personal, family run business.
Jacqui said:” Here at Clydey Cottages, we offer the complete package; the dream of country cottage living. We set off right from the start wanting to create an environment that we would wish to go on holiday to ourselves and with 3 young children of our own, our focus is on providing quality, fun-filled family holidays. We strive to make Clydey Cottages particularly child and family friendly and have put things in place to keep everyone happy, entertained and enthralled.”
